Do india have a proven keeper who can replace ms Dhoni.If not then let's leave that problem as it is.As is case with Africa, Australia, Pakistan and many major countries their keepers are also not contributing a lot.Except for England keeper I don't see any other keeper making a huge contribution.so that topic must not be opened.

Appreciate the comment, Advait. Player evaluation is not restricted to a few guys, but the entire team. Ironically, this mentality was brought to the Indian team by Dhoni himself. There are keeper options that have ODI experience (Rayudu and DK), but Dhoni still has the mental edge on both and remains physically able to play. It's a legacy selection and there's nothing wrong with that, but let's call it what it is instead of pretending there aren't better options.

Rayudu is not a keeper.He do not like to keep wickets.And as of 2018 the strike rates of Dhoni and DK are same. Leave a Reply. |
